Who are we?
We are a dedicated collegiate team of students, future engineers and leaders from Purdue University Northwest (PNW). We intend to grow each year while giving our members valuable experience building and designing a formula open-wheel style race car. PNW Motorsports provides students networking opportunities with some of the most respected manufacturers and suppliers in the world.
Our goal is to design, fabricate, and build a new racecar ready for the Formula SAE (FSAE) competition held at the Michigan International Speedway each year. FSAE is a student engineering competition held at multiple locations throughout the world that brings together University engineering students to compete against one another in motorsports events. The competitions cover all different disciplines in the motorsports field and the events are both static and dynamic.
HOW TO JOIN
Join the team
Any Purdue Northwest student is eligible to join our FSAE Team. We are looking for enthusiastic students who are willing to learn, regardless of major or previous experience.
We recommend that any interested students come to our weekly team meeting as soon as possible and introduce themselves to the team leadership. To find out when our team meetings are, fill out the questionnaire. If you have a desire to work in a specific area, be sure to mention it.
